1. Getting Started
Acceptance of These Terms
By accessing or using Pingvero, including any of its tools, pages or resources, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. These Terms apply to every visitor and user of the website, whether or not you use a specific tool.
If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please stop using Pingvero. We may update these Terms from time to time, as described in the Availability and Changes section below, so we encourage you to review this page occasionally.
2. The Website
About Pingvero
Pingvero is a website that provides free, browser-based tools and information to help you check and understand your Internet connection and network settings. These include tools that measure Internet speed, WiFi performance, ping, latency, jitter and packet loss, as well as tools that look up IP address, DNS and WHOIS information, check network ports, and calculate subnets and bandwidth.
Pingvero is not an Internet service provider, a hosting provider, a telecommunications operator or a professional cybersecurity service. It provides informational and diagnostic tools intended to help you understand your own connection and network — nothing more. No account is required to use any tool on the website. You can read more about the project on our About page.
3. Using the Tools
Use of Pingvero Tools
Pingvero's tools are made available primarily for informational, diagnostic, educational and troubleshooting purposes. They are designed to give you a helpful reading on how your connection or network is behaving at a given moment — not a certified, professional-grade or legally binding assessment.
Results can vary depending on factors outside Pingvero's control, including your device, browser, network, Internet service provider, the location of the server used for a test, network congestion, WiFi conditions, an active VPN, firewall settings, operating system and other technical factors. A different result on a different run, device or network does not, on its own, mean that a tool is malfunctioning.
4. Reading a Result
Accuracy of Results
The results produced by Pingvero's tools and calculators — including Internet speed tests, ping and latency tests, jitter tests, packet loss tests, IP and DNS information, WHOIS information, port checks, subnet calculations and bandwidth calculations — are provided "as is" and can be affected by the technical conditions described in the section above.
Treat each result as an indication of network behavior at the time it was generated, not as a guarantee of the performance of your connection, a server or an Internet service provider. Pingvero does not warrant that any result is complete, uninterrupted, error-free, or representative of performance at any other time or on any other network.
